Lao Che was formed by seven musicians in 1999. It's artistic clue is to describe certainthemes. The first album Gusla was recorded in 2002 and it illustrated Medieval Period of Polish east borders. Warsaw Uprising was a topic for the second album which was released in 2005. It expressed the atmosphere of that time.

Now the band has prepared their third album called Gospel which presents a modern man in our typical Polish environment. Lao Che music describes relations of human beings with God and society. The perspective is a little bit twisted - grotesque. Music style touches circus motives and cartoon attitude. It's been recorded in analogue studios on 24- track-tape and mixed with stylish samples in between. Strange, original style.
